Creating the Distance Horse
This is a 3 day workshop based on the fundamentals of training and conditioning the trail/endurance horse. It is designed for individuals who are interested in riding the trail, long distance pleasure rides, and those looking to compete in 25, 50, or 100 mile rides. Workshops are structured around horsemanship and trail awareness, feeding and electrolytes, trail horse tack and equipment, trailering, camping, training, conditioning and competition pre-ride scheduling.

Limited to 6 riders per day. Auditors are welcome for morning arena classroom session, riders will be on the trail in the afternoon.
Cost $600.00 for all three days or $210.00 per day Auditors: $40 per day
Time: 8:30am- 5pm (Lunch included) Overnight stabling, with hay, available at no charge Your horse is guaranteed to feel spoiled!!

Trail Essentials
This is a one day clinic that is geared toward horse and rider pairs that yearn for information on group trail riding techniques and safety. The basics and nuances of trail obstacles, and awareness of space and pace will be addressed. Information on the basics of Competitive Trail, Endurance and local pleasure trail riding clubs and organizations, will be provided. Questions will be answered with reference to discipline specific bits, bridles, saddle fit, and types of saddles. We also address all necessary trail equipment. All of this equates to confident and comfortable trail riding. All breeds are welcome!!
